Train to Gain

Train to Gain is the Governments flagship services to help employees of all sizes and in all sectors get the training, advice and support they need to train their staff.

Whilst in employment you will be able to gain a level 2 and 3 qualification; to do this you must be;

• 19 years of age at the commencement of training.
• Legally present and employed in Britain on a full time or part time basis.

 The funding available to your Employer will be partial or fully funded for the following:

• Your first full Level 2 Qualification (equivalent to 5 good GCSEs).
• If you currently do not have a Level 2 qualification in English language skills or numeracy.

Your Employer may also be given contributions to Level 3 qualifications (equivalent to 2 A-levels)

• If you have a Level 2 qualification but have significant skills enabling you to “Jump” straight to a Level 3 qualification or;
• If you already possess a Level 3 qualification and would like an additional Level 3 qualification in a different occupational area.

For employees/learners who are aged 19-25+ full funding is available for you to gain a Level 3 qualification.
