BENEFITS OF APPRENTICESHIPS TO EMPLOYERS
Apprenticeships are well structured and require commitment, so you will find Apprentices more disciplined
from the word go.
Your recruitment costs often come down as Apprentices are loyal and less likely
to switch to another employer.
Better trained, better motivated staff, that stay with you for longer, making it
easier to devlop your future Managers.
As the Young Person receives their training they will be contributing
to the success of your company.
The training is delivered either in-company or on day or block release
and can be tailored to complement their training and development with
you, their employer.
The cost of the training is funded by the Learning and Skills Council.
It may be possible for the Young Person to receive a training allowance
for the first 12 weeks whilst they settle in.
If you have not recruited young people before or you are a sole trader looking
to take on your first member of staff, you will have support and expertise of the Training Provider
while your trainee is 'learning the ropes'.
At the end of the programme, your Apprentice will be an invaluable
and qualified member of your workforce.
