BENEFITS OF APPRENTICESHIPS TO EMPLOYERS

  • Apprenticeships are well structured and require commitment, so you will find Apprentices more disciplined from the word go.
  • Your recruitment costs often come down as Apprentices are loyal and less likely to switch to another employer.
  • Better trained, better motivated staff, that stay with you for longer, making it easier to devlop your future Managers.
  • As the Young Person receives their training they will be contributing to the success of your company.
  • The training is delivered either in-company or on day or block release and can be tailored to complement their training and development with you, their employer.
  • The cost of the training is funded by the Learning and Skills Council.
  • It may be possible for the Young Person to receive a training allowance for the first 12 weeks whilst they settle in.
  • If you have not recruited young people before or you are a sole trader looking to take on your first member of staff, you will have support and expertise of the Training Provider while your trainee is 'learning the ropes'.
  • At the end of the programme, your Apprentice will be an invaluable and qualified member of your workforce.
