| Construction |
It is important that you enjoy practical work. Construction is a huge
industry and you could become involved in a wide range of jobs, which
might include bricklaying; painting and decorating; plastering; wood occupations;
masonry; stonemasonry; and more. Allied trades include plumbing, tiling,
electrical installing and gas fitting.
Training depends on the programme that you select, but it is likely to
take place at college or in a training centre as well as with an employer.
