| Engineering |
A wide variety of occupations and allied trades comes under the broad
heading of engineering. Your training will depend upon the programme that
you choose and to some extent the employer with whom you are placed. Occupations
are allied to mechanical, electrical, fabrication and welding related
crafts.
Entry requirements vary, depending on the programme that you choose;
some programmes require no formal qualifications but learners will need
good passes at GCSE to embark upon an Apprenticeship. All learners will
need to show commitment to engineering and an aptitude in their chosen
skill area. |
