The use and support of I.T.

You will become an expert user of I.T. using different software packages to provide the information that your company needs. In addition you may support other people to use I.T. in their work. This may involve telephone support to other users or customers.

Computer Programmer or Analyst

Depending on your employer you may get involved in writing or changing computer programmes. With more experience, you could progress onto analysis work - finding out what the requirements of an I.T.system are and designing a system to exactly meet those requirements.

Service Provision

You may be part of a team which helps to deliver I.T. solutions involving purchase, installation and maintenance of I.T. systems, possibly including networking computers together, on one or more sites.
