ETF - One day course on embedding English available in Derby

Education and Training Foundation logo

All vocational teachers and trainers, consciously or unconsciously, can support their learners’ English development. This is because English is required to carry out almost all vocational tasks and is the medium through which learners demonstrate their skills and knowledge. Participants will build on knowledge and techniques developed on the introductory VR course or through prior experiences of developing embedded English programmes.

There are a number of subsidised places at £20 on this course and it is being held on 22nd February 2018 from 9:30-16:00 in Derby, venue TBC

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for vocational practitioners, with experience of teaching, assessing or supporting English in the FE and skills sector. It is a progression from the one/half day English 'Vocational revitaliser: an introduction'.
