You may have seen the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is investing £1m into post-16 technical and professional education as part of its programme of “outstanding teaching, learning and assessment”. Post-16 providers across the country will be able to access the funding (between £30k and £70k per project) which is being delivered under contract by the Association of Colleges in partnership with emfec and AoC London on behalf of ETF.

The project will run throughout 2017 and see 20 projects across England receive funding to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in post-16 technical and professional education and training. With a strong focus on collaboration and employer engagement, projects will support the development of teaching practice and stronger links with employers with the aim of working towards outstanding provision in the sector for all students on technical routes. This builds on the OTLA project that emfec managed in 2014/15 and which benefitted 50 providers and some 3,000 practitioners in the East Midlands

Providers interested in tendering for one of the 20 projects are asked to complete an expression of interest form which can be accessed here. Registering interest will allow you to access the full ITT and guidance notes. Further information on the programme can be accessed on the AoC teaching and learning page.
