This Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training has been designed to prepare trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts.
It requires observation and assessment of practice and the range of optional units available provide opportunities to contextualise the qualification for different learning environments.

Who is this course suitable for?
The course is designed for learners that are either currently in a teaching role or have a teaching position that they will be commencing soon. It offers a choice of optional units that reflects the context in which they teach if they are currently teaching and want to have their practice and experience accredited.
It can also be undertaken by learners who are not currently teaching but can meet the minimum teaching practice requirement of 30 hours
What are the entry requirements?
You should be 19 years old or over and resident in England, and have a minimum of 30 hours teaching practice whilst completing the course
How is it assessed?
All units are internally assessed by your Tutor or Assessor using a portfolio of evidence.

You should complete this course in 20 weeks.
