New guidance for employers and training providers on the 20% apprenticeship off-the-job training requirements
The Department for Education has published additional guidance around the 20 percent off-the-job training rule for apprenticeships.
The guidance is intended to help employers and training providers meet the 20 percent off-the-job training requirement for apprentices, and includes some best practice examples.
This topic has generated much discussion at our breakfast meetings and this latest publication is aimed at, “employers that wish to understand the off-the-job training requirements involved in an apprenticeship and providers that wish to ensure that they are offering off-the-job training in accordance with the funding rules and policy intent.”
