Following on from the presentation Maureen Deary delivered at our annual conference, one of the most requested courses we have been asked to provide for our members is Ofsted nominee training.
With the news that Ofsted are now looking to potentially inspect sub-contractors directly, we have secured the services of an ex-Ofsted lead inspector, Peter Stacey to come and deliver this training at The Derbyshire Network.
Peter has a wealth of experience across the further education and skills sector having been a teacher and senior manager for many years with responsibility for colleges, apprenticeships, adult programmes and prison education and training. Peter was a lead inspector for over ten years and also an inspection manager for the North of England and now works as a business improvement adviser for post 16 education and training provision.
The workshop will assist you in developing their knowledge and understanding of the inspection process, improve your planning and preparation for inspection so you can effectively manage the inspection week and understand the role of an inspection nominee.
The content and activities are designed to help those who will be directly involved in the inspection process and other managers and staff who would like to further develop their knowledge and understanding of inspection and how to ensure their organisation is seen at its best.
Split in to three sections over the day, the agenda for this full day workshop can be found here: Ofsted Inspection preparation and nominee training – Getting the best outcome from inspection
