Why is CPD important and why does it matter? This is something we often get asked and our answer is, “Continuing professional development is important because it ensures that you continue to be competent in your profession. It is an ongoing process and should continue throughout your career.”
Here are just a few points on why CPD is so important:
- CPD ensures that you maintain and enhance the knowledge and skills you need to deliver a professional service to your customers, clients and the community.
- CPD keeps you and your knowledge relevant and up to date with industry developments
- CPD can help you continue to make a meaningful contribution to your team.
Sometimes you are mandated by your profession or required by a codes of conduct, but it is the personal responsibility of a professional to keep their knowledge and skills current in order to deliver the quality service that safeguards the public and meets the expectations of customers and the requirements of their profession.
We regularly run CPD events for members and non-members in the following areas:
- Ofsted Preparation
